Battling the deadline monster right now, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention a few notable musical events going on tonight:
-- Go to Good Records at 7 p.m. to celebrate the CD release of Here Holy Spain. The band will play some tunes from Manic, including the one streaming below. Idol Records prez Erv Karwelis tells me members of the Toadies will be in the audience, since HHS is opening for them on a few upcoming dates.

-- Dallas' Forever the Sickest Kids (pictured, in all their glory) should take the stage at House of Blues later this evening (even though the opening acts get rolling around 6:30). Check it out if you like insanely catchy pop-punk or just want to see teenage girls lose their [expletive].
