TOPIC: The Cowboys' stadium in Arlington

Ben: After watching the Build It Bigger special on the Science Channel about the Cowboys' new stadium last week, it is clear to me that there has never been a better structure in the history of mankind. When looking at it in context with the Ballpark in Arlington, it appears as though it might soon eat the Texas Rangers and their little baseball field. For the safety of everyone, we better pray that no one pisses off that stadium.

Skin: It's a shame I'll never see it because it's in Arlington. Well, that's a lie. I can actually see it from my house in Plano, but it's a shame I'll never get to go inside it, unless it walks over here. Is Arlington now more important than Dallas? Is Dallas even relevant anymore? Replace the Ewings with the Jones family, call it Arlington and put it on Friday nights after The Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard and I'm so in.

Ben: I'm so bitter about that giant spaceship not being in downtown Dallas. How in the hell did we let Arlington intercept that opportunity and return it for a touchdown? That's like Garland hosting the Olympics. By the way, does Garland still have that law that says you have to have an '83 El Camino project-car parked on your lawn at all times?

Skin: That's like asking if water is still wet. And it's the reason that every other 'burb in America stopped putting together El Camino Olympic Committees. Why bother when you have no chance to dethrone the king?

Comments

Hey, that Garland stereotype is not funny! The '83 El Camino thing is an ordinance, not exactly a law. Plus, it was changed to include '85 IROC-Z Camaro project cars parked on your lawn at all times as well.

Geesh, if you guys would ever venture out of Plano or Dallas, you'd know that!!!
