Former Tah-Dahs member James Porter has assembled a new band to get his melodic pop songs out into the world. Drawn by Jaymz also features bassist (and Happy Bullet) Tim Ruble, as well as drummer (and Quick contributor) Geoff Johnston.

And if you want a taste before committing hard-drive space to the music, check out a streaming track below, which Porter says is about about "being in an uncontrolled moment. You realize something horrible is about to happen and you're just frozen in that little, tiny window of time."
