I was late in watching this week's ep of The Hills on my DVR last night, but I got a pleasant surprise. The show featured a snippet of a track from Fort Worth pop-rock band Green River Ordinance. As is usually the case with the soundtrack on that show, the song "Outside" was played during a between-scenes shot of LA traffic and vistas. Still, the crunchy guitar-fueled song had that fresh California sound so favored by the show. Way to go, GRO!
