- Iris Leu (above) reports via Facebook that she'll have a full band backing her this Friday at the Cavern.


- Chelsea Callahan and Jeff Liles became fans of Deep Ellum.


- John Solis pumps up the Wednesday Dada Lineup using his Facebook status: "John thinks tomorrow at Club Dada is going to be off the chain. "The After Party" line up is Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, We Are Villains and RTB2. Thats a BOMB line up! Be there!"


- CD Source reports in a MySpace bulletin that it just got a limited amount of 'Thriller' and Michael Jackson 'Number Ones' copies back in stock. Run!


- The Vigilante Music Group tells us that Bun B, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and scads of other rap acts will descend on Airhogs Stadium July 10 for Southern Fried Summer Jam 09. MTV Tres will be filming the show.


- The Toadies tweet and Facebook about a new tour video they've posted.

- The local band Inner Frequency announces that member Luke Carnevale is leaving the band. His last show is July 17 at Jack's Backyard.


- Early word on the lineup for Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin on Nov. 7 and 8. King Khan and Jesus Lizard are in the mix.
