Bonus topic: Why did this Fourth of July suck at the movies?
Skin: Not sure if it's a sign of the bad economy or what, but it doesn't seem like there were any big openings at the box office for the 4th. Aside from Johnny Depp's remake of Johnny Dangerously, I don't think anything came out. Transformers looks really good, if you're into the worst [expletive] ever. And by that, I mean robot snuff films. God, how I wish Megan Fox was a robot and I was a can of Copenhagen .
Ben: You're weird. I mean, even to weird people. But I like it. And by "it," I mean violent Copenhagen-based robot love that ends in on-film cyborg expiration while people spit into disgusting dip cups. It's what this country was built on, and I still stand by it today. By the way, if we learned anything from I, Robot, Star Wars and Cherry 2000, it's that robots don't die, they just go and live in sad, little broken robot colonies, waiting for Will Smith or Mark Hamill to put them back into the game at a point of their choosing.
Skin: HAL would beg to differ. So is Copenhagen named after Denmark? It seems like redneck baseball players and their dip cups wouldn't be into international travel. But I know nothing about marketing. At least, not to people who can't wait to have mouth cancer. That's a weird posse. I'm not buying the "it's a cool buzz" argument, since glue gets you to the same place without the awful aftertaste. Do redneck chicks like second-hand dip residue?
Ben: Google image search is not at all kind to the snuff industry when the words "lip" and "cancer" are put in play. Having said that, here are are the Google image searches that I do recommend: eat spider, Bigfoot skeleton and creepy mustache.
