The Fame National Talent Search is searching for its next biggest stars and stopping at Six Flag locations across the country to hold auditions... so ready your singing voice, dancing shoes or "performing arts"-related activity that's deliciously open to interpretation for tryouts that start this weekend.
While you can always just send in a video of you doing that voodoo that you do, Texans have two shots at fame -- at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio on Saturday, July 18, and Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington Saturday Aug. 1.
One finalist is chosen from each park and one from submissions through MySpace, and the prizes are quite juicy: $5,000, a photo spread in OK magazine, a trip to LA and your performance immortalized on the Fame DVD, among them. (The movie opens Sept. 25.)
