... was the kickoff party for Dallas Urban Fashion Week, which runs today through Sunday. At first it didn't feel very urban, what with it being situated at Millennium Jaguar in Plano. But once the models started sashaying down the runway, the urban touches were apparent. The fashion mini-show highlighted bold, sexy designs and body-hugging silhouettes perfect for a night on the town.
But UFW won't just involve apparel, but cosmetics and hairstyles as well. Check out the bevy of upcoming events at the UFW Web site here.
Large-and-in-charge Grapevine pop band Mount Righteous is working on its next full-length album, but it's got a treat to tide fans over. On Sept. 25, we'll get a new EP called Open Your Mouth, featuring five new tracks (none containing an iota of guitar), including this one:
